Express your authenticity through breath, sound, and movement in this playful and activating workshop.
Breathwork is great for:
Releasing emotions such as anxiety and loneliness
Strengthening your immune system and regulating your nervous system
Connecting with your intuition, Higher Self, and Source
You will feel more confident, alive, rejuvenated, and empowered after Breathwork, ready to dance and play for the rest of the day.
Note: Breathwork is an active, embodied practice. If you have a history of heart conditions, psychiatric disorder, PTSD, sleep disorders, detached retina, glaucoma, aneurisms, panic attacks, seizures, or if you are pregnant, please consult with your doctor to see if Breathwork is right for you.
About We Are Muxic
Welcome to the Roots of Underground Music:
As our gatherings are small and non-commercial. We prefer to keep this gathering underground and by word of mouth.
If you have obtained access to our initiation list, please keep event location information off social media. Share only with your closets friends who you trust. If you are bringing a newbie, you are responsible to show them the ropes to understand the culture of the underground dance community.
We ask for a suggested donation and all proceeds cover costs for equipment as well are reinvested to improve the quality of our gatherings. If you like what we’re doing, just wait to see what coming : )
By following a few simple guidelines, together we can collectively ensure longevity of our events.
Our Community
Peace Love Unity Respect: In a hyper political world, it’s great to have all walks of life together in harmony. Music is the great uniter and be mindful to respect all walks of life. No matter if you’re LGBTQ, straight, black, brown, white, or any walk of life, you are not just tolerated, you are accepted and respected. We must take care of each other, love one another and be selfless. Embrace the community and get to know each other.
Come to Dance: We are an artist community so come to dance! Have fun, the artists have spent so much time developing the journey for the community. We appreciate you want to film this moment but by doing so, you may actually lose the moment. Let yourself go and feel the music.
Come as You Are: Be free. Be you. No judging and freedom of expression is encouraged.
Give Back: Are you a performing artist or interesting in volunteering to make our community brighter? Connect with us. We are always interested in collaborating with artists and good people.
Areas of Interests:
Dj / Artists
Pyro & Acrobatic Performers
Graffiti Artists
Day of Event Support (Security, Medics, Gatekeepers, Photographers, etc.)
Local Merchants (Artwork, party gear, jewelry, food, water)
Pre-Event Support (Props, Lighting, Technology)
Have Fun: Nothing makes us happier than to hear what a good time you had. Escape from your daily lives, enjoy the journey and smile.
Safety Precautions
No Means No: Our events are not a “meat market” and don’t be a creeper. We are a tight knit dance community and take care of each other. If anyone is bothering you, let someone know. If you see something, say something. If a person is under the influence and of not sound judgement, this doesn’t give a free pass to acceptance. Be responsible and take care of each other as this kind of egregious behavior will not be tolerated. Let the Dj’s know as we’ll shut down the event until the situation is handled so don’t be that guy.
We Are Still in a Pandemic: Such as life but doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. BUT we must be responsible. Follow the CDC guidelines to ensure social distancing, wearing of masks, and washing hands. With so much love in our community we know it’s hard not to hug people but be respectful to the grandparents of the world and the medical community by following the rules.
Drive Responsibly:
In the era of ride sharing, there is no excuse for driving under the influence.
Venues may be located isolated areas that require some off-road driving. Relax and drive safely. You also don’t want to draw unwanted attention.
Don’t kill Bambi. Some locations are rural and watch out for animals.
Pack It In, Pack It Out: Respect the location and leave no trace. We work hard to find amazing locations and it would be heartbreaking to find that our guests have ruined a site.
Don’t litter, anywhere!
Bring your own trash bags and throw away what you bring
If you see litter, help pick it up regardless of who dropped it
Graffiti may be allowed in designated areas
No butts. Don’t not leave cigarettes butts behind and make sure they are extinguished.
Personal Responsibility: Just as the key to life is moderation, so is the key to a good time. Let’s make memories you can actually remember and look after your friends. As some of our venues are remote and isolated, be sure to bring:
Water or some other means of keeping proper hydration
Snacks for you, your friends and the community
First Aid Kit
Doctor Prescribed Medications
Extra set of car keys
Emergency contact to share with your friends
Check the Weather: Be sure to check the weather for every venue and bring proper attire. To be safe, overpack as weather reports can be mis-leading and may not account for wind.
Fire: In California, one spark can torch thousands of acres. To minimize risk, please help with the following:
Only use designated fire pits (if available) for fires
If you are a spinning fire, be sure to have enough clearance in case a flaming orb goes flying away.
Firewood donations are appreciated
If you are BBQ’ing, give us a bite! I mean, be sure it’s done in a safe manor.
Again, put out your butts!
One for the Ages: Can I bring my 16-year-old brother to the event? Only if you’re an adult over the age of 21. Sorry, we cannot allow minors under the age of 18 in the event without adult supervision.
